Bellerby, and situate in Ruakituri Valloy, Cook country,'has been totally de>troyed by'fire. - The insurances were £925 on the building and contents in the Australian Alliance Assurance ofiice. :•;': SEA.TOUN TEA ROOMS BURNT, f The tea rooms and residence of Mr. O.E. Fabian, Sea-tonn, wero totally destroyed by fire at about 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon.Tho premises 'wore situated opposite the tramway terminus, on the,corner of Stafford and Dundae Streets. The fire is stated to have been caused by tho boiler in, the kitchen , range bursting, allowing the firo to get- a ihbld in an adjoinißg linen-press. Assisted by a howling ,g'alo, the'.flames soon got a grip of the: back premises, cutting off the' tank water; supply'completely, and leavingbhe building entirely'at tho mercy of tho flames, which devoured tho ontiro structure. All that wae saved' wero a few articles of furniture.' Tho neighbours rendered all tlio .assistenco possible, but with litilo avail. ' Tho tea rooms, which wore erected between threo and four years ago, wore insured. OUTBREAK AT KILBIRNIE. ' A /qui'-roomod cottago in Moxham Avenue, Kilbirtu'o, occupied by.Mr. R. Campbell and owned by Mr. Jones, was severely damaged by aii, outbreak of firo'at 6.53 yesterday morning. Tho contents of the buildings wero also badly_ damaged, but tho prompt arrival of tho brigade prevented a total loss. Tho cause of tho fire is supposed to bavo been the overturning of a (*as ring, tho rubber tubing attachea to 'which is said to liavo ignited. Thero was no insurance on tho furniture. ■ ' i< ~
