REV. F. B. MEYER PREDICTS A GREAT REVIVAL. The Aldersgat« Street Y.M.C.A. Hall was crowded rccontly.to bid farewell to the Rev. 1 0 . B.Meyer, who .was'leaving London 011 an evangelistic tour in tho East. Mr. W. M. Hodaer presided over a congregation which I included many London ministers and mission workers. In outlining his programme, Mr. Meyer said that lie was going as a Christian commissioner to help and inspire thoso who were \yorkiitg in/.loneliness at mission outposts.' There was 110 class of men who de-. manded moro sympathy and help than tho Christian missionaries. "Since my tour in South' Africa," ho said, "I havo como to sot a higher- value 011 their work,- and to realise how much they stand in need of a little encouragement. My first engagement will bo' in- Bulgaria. This day week I shall bo at Philippopolis, then I go 011 to Nice, tlio homo of the great Christian creed, then to Smyrna,' tho rendezvous of brigands. If 1 1 am captured T hope you won't ransom me, for I shall do", my best to convert them. Tliou to Port Said, Ceylon, Singapore, Hong-Kong, and 011 to China, where I shall bo joined by Dr. Da'rrock, the agent of tho Sunday School "Union. In China ivc shall not only endeavour to organise Sunda'y School ,worli, under the auspices of tlio World's Smiday_ School Association, of which I am tho president, but we shall moot in confcrcnco tlio 1500 missionaries, and hold conventions in four of the great Chinese provinces. If timo permits I may make a (lying visit to Korea', and then I shall bo banished to'ray Patmos—that is, a ton days' journey through Siberia in a railway train.
