ANOTHER BIG SENTENCE. TWO YEARS FOR'SEDITIOUS SPEECH MISUSED ELOQUENCE. (Roe. May 7, 9 p.m.) , (BT TEMEGRArH —PREBB AB3OOIATION—COPTUIOnT,' \ Sydney, May 7. Holland, found guilty of using seditious languago and inciting to resist the poliw at Broken Hill, was sentenced to two years' imprisonment. Tho judge, in sentencing Holland, said: "You have been guilty of a very gravo offence, and, committed at i the time it was, it is exceptionally gravo. Possessed of an eloquent tonguo, you mado tjio worst possible use of it, inciting pcoplo to a state of rebellion. But for tho coolness and tact of tho police, matters might have been much worse." [In tho course of a speech at Broken Hilli Holland was reported as saying: "How long would it take you to stop the supplies to-the Broken . Hill mine and send Wade s criminals back? If you are going to fight, put a little ginger into it, or, to bo jlain spoken, dynamite. That is the way to win."]
