THORNDON CLUB. Friendly matches by way of winding up the Wellington Bowling Centre's Easter tournament were played on Saturday afternoon on the Thorndon Green, wliero two rinks of centre delegates'played the winners arid runners-up of the tournament.' King, president of tho centre, presented the winning tournament team, skipped by Price, with a liandsomo framed certificate, artistically designed and executed by Mr. G; F. Wilson, of the Thorndon Club. The presentation was appropriately acknowledged by the winning skip, and the assembled bowlers gave cheers for the winners, the runnors-up.
