As was predioted, there was an unusually large , attendance at the election'^of the school committee on Monday night.' * Tho annual report, submitted by Mr. T. Gardner, the retiring chairman, showed an attendance of 181, as compared "with 16"8 for 1 / the preceding year. The December quarter (aVerage, 155) had the highest average attendance in the school's history, tho average, for .the year just ended being 147.
