In the . annual report tho committeo congratulated, tho; headmaster. (Mr.' Home) and tho on- the: excellent' progress made' during' tho. year. . The new western ■- school would bo' ready for occupation shortly; Mr. I.M'Konsie(chairman) had ' been largely responsible for pushing this worlv ahead. Tho ■'committee"had asked the Education Board to establish a high school 'proper in I'etono, 'but their request had-been refuged. The committee hold that the land owned by the Boys' Brigade'should be handed over to be used as a -site -"for.- school, swimming baths. The bal-ance-slieetj' showed a credit of £12 10s.
