COUNCILLOR MORRAH IN REPLY.

: Sir,—ln, answer to the latter which appeared in your columns to-day signed by the Rev. Arthur Dewdncy, I ; may state that I have a great respect for the truth/ and if tho rev., gentleman will read my letter again ho will, find that his statement that I asserted' that "tho Sydney concorts woro always advertised admission free" is incorrect. What I did say is "as long as they are advertised admission free." I havo seen tho advertisements referred to,. and while they-do not constitute a breach of the by-law, I do not approve of them, and if I am again elected to the City Council I should recommend that unless the concerts wore advertised admission free, consent for their conduct by these promoters should: be withdrawn by tho council. —I am, etc., : , r " W. H. MORRAH. , -April 24. .
