1 Sir,—l understand that tlio workers in tlio Government shops in Wellington have not yet received their, last fortnight's pay, and why ; this thiisness, seeing that our wizard, of finance, Premier Ward, is boasting of his surplus, and throwing Dreadnoughts around P. Far better if lie wore to reduce his own fat salary and those of his Ministers and allow tlio working man to live, 'or rather exist, as tho latter has not a harbour of refuge in a free house,,etc, Trusting that you will give this letter* due publicity, and thanking you in anticipation i therefor. —l am, etc., DREADNOUGHT.
