Johnson, laid - a trail;of about eight miles, skirting: Wilton's Bush to tho Makara Stream., The stream -was r followed for about two miles,-when the hares .//■/' .'struck across the .hills to the.;'Karori Road, which thoy reached close to the football grotind. The -road wasvthen followed'back to. the - starting point. The "run in" was won . - t- by H. J. Pollock, with P. Wilton second, and ■ I. Hodson 'third. ■ Next Saturday's run will take place/from.
