Board,, stated that ' tho practice of storing a larga number of empty cases at the ;roar. of blocks' of buildings .in the city constituted a grave; danger to sur-' rounding property, as /sparks, from a fire were likely to fall on such 'inflammable stocks, which wore.of light wood,' and usually filled with'straw. and,other, light packing. Hβ suggested" that a regulation should be framed to . prevent the practice."'' ; ;. T . . -The chairman . said that although all tho members lenew danger it was difficult to frame a regulation.
