It was decided to refer the application to. the, incoming committco. ...'.A telegram, from Hokitikn, signed "Wade," rend:—" Coast' Union refused five clubs permission form'sub-union. After some discussion, it was'decided'to leave the matter to tho incouiingcommittee, and to inform the Southland Union tnat there are at present no funds available. -The Hawko's Bay Union intimated that its delegates to tho Now Zealand Union would bo E. Smyrk, Geo. Roach, P. Laws, L. Card, and L. Sievers.

A letter was received, from the Canterbury Union, asking if it was true that Mr. Galbraith intended retiring: from the position of treasurer, and stating that, if he was not go-' ing.to stand, the union would give notice of motion to alter the rule as to officers,- to provide for the office of secretary, and treasurer being held conjointly.
