Stir well until ,it leaves -the. sides 1 of tho pan. ; Remove from the' fire, ■ let tho mixture cool a : and then 1 add the eggs one by one, unbeaten. Beat until .they look-shiny, about-,i hour. Drop th'e mixture on to a cold tray in spoonfuls, put into a quick oven, and'keeir the oven door shut; until they have-risen;: When, risen, moderate .the .heat. Bake about r J hour.'
