He won the Cams Greek Testament prize in 1857, anil graduated B.A. with first-class in 1 the classical tripos, and A a first-class in '; the theological tripos, in 1858. His scholarly attainments did not end there, for in 1859 he won the Scholefidd prize, the 33achelors' Cams Greek. Testament prize, ; and., the Crosse ; Theological 'Scholarship' in 185 D.'
