; ■ Y.M.C.A. v. S.S. CORINTHIC. An Association match was played at Miraniar on Saturday, between a'' team from the s.s. Corinthio and the Y.M.C.A Alftougbthe high wind , -spoilt good football a fair exposition of ,the game was given. Y.M.C.A. kicked off ,with tho wind at their backs, and scored.three goals in tho first half (Wilkins two and Hughes one). In the second half'the Cdrinthio team played much better, notching four goals (Hclsey two, Appleby>and Keates one""each).-" Wilkins also scored ono in this spell for Y.M.C.A. Throughout the'game Wilkins, in the van, and Wilson, in the backs, were very prominent fory.M.C.A.while Appleby and Holsey, in' tho forwards, and the right' full-back for Corinthic played goodgames.. ~' . : . ■ ,■... . ..-
