Of the. nine men sent down, eight scored points, the other not being at his best. The Wellington men were courted ously treated by the Otago -Centre. As to finance the .£36 voted, for the trip had .been exeeeded, the total cost being .£42 7s. 5d It was decided to place on record the services rendered by Mr. Bridge; Votes of thanks were ' also passed to Messrs. Heenan, Robertson, and lalbot for assistance given; and to the members of the championship team,-for'their ei-. oellent■performances. Dr.,A. K. Newman and Jlr. W. F.
