It.-iscom- t posed of ladies, commanded by CaptainVC £ Baker, and among the officers is Lady Er'n- 1 estine Hunt, daughter of the Marquis of ( Ailesbury., The Uniform.is decidedly, becom- I ing, and consists, of a tight-fitting scarlet c tunic, with white facings, a navy-blue 'skirt, \ with thread rows of white: braid- round.jthe t bottom, and a scarlet peaked cap,' having i samo resemblance ,to the army pattern. The i object of the corps is .to . provide -trained '< nurses in timo of war,- and every member t undertakes to be ready to leave the country { for ■/active' service at 24 hours':"'-notice;".- ::- 1
