, The annual meeting of the Groytown'Towj* Lands Trust was held on Thursday evening, Mr. J. D. Heagerty being .in the ' chair. , The balance-sheet showed receipts* as £469 . 18s. Id., with, £88 9s. 7d. brought forward, making, a total of £558 7s. Bd. . Grants. , were made to the public school, publio library, ' fire brigade, and; recreation * reserve amounting/to £95,. and £86 is invested, leaving a cash, balance of £153 17s. after paying current expenses. The assets are shown as £162 Ib. 4<L, of which £85 goes in grants , to publio bodies. The value of the sinking fund is £948 18s.; which is invested. Messrs. Mark Maxton and Horatio Dudding wer« ,' again elected auditors. ,
