Ihe following items of expsndituro for railway construction were authorised bv Cabinet yesterday: Gisborne-Rotorua line £7(10; Coal Creek Railway Extension, £5000 • Helonsvillo North Railway, £1000: Catliu's Railway, £400. It was decided to call for tenders for new • courthouses at Ross and Waipiro Hay (Gis- ' borno), and a now police station at Lincoln • An expenditure of £300 was approved for 5 alterations, stores, and furniture in connection with tho Levin Post Office. I
