The letter was received., r Tho Public Health Department - gave notice that it was necessary to provide a hospital in the Wellington district for the reception of n infectious diseases cases, and it was asked that the population of tho Karori Borough be supjl plied in order that tho cost of erection aijd ul liiaintonauco of the hospital might bo appor- (. tioned amongst tho various local bodies. jj' Formal notice was received from tho Department of Internal Affairs as to the exclusion of s certain areas from tho Karori • Borough, and their inclusion in tho Makara County, i. A report on threo cases of scarlet tever was B ' received from tho Public Health Department, and recommendations wero liiade as to alterations necessary in tho building in which tho j: cases occurred.
