To-morrow the Union Company'p steamer Wanaka : is due from Newcastle direct. She left Newcastle last Thursday night, and has part cargo for Wellington and Lyttelton. THE WAKANUI. It is reported that the New Zealand -Shinping Company's steamer Wakanui, instead of sailing from Plymouth nest Saturday, will leave thorn on April 20. She cornea via Capo Town and Hobart, and in addition to a largo cargo has several passengers. "' ' • THE KUEOW. Messrs. Wm- Doxford and Sons, Ltd., launched from their yard at Pallion, Sunderland, on Tuesday last, the steamer Kurow.'built to the order of the Union Steam' Ship Company of New Zealand, Ltd. Tho vessel is 315 ft. long, 44Jft. broad, with a moulded dopth of 23ft,, and Is classed with the British Corporation Registry.—" Syren and Shipping," March 3.
