THE ANTI-UNION CAMPAIGN IN NATAL RAILWAY JEALOUSIES. THE MOZAMBIQUE AGREEMENT. (Ut TBI.KCIIAI-ll— IMIIMS ASSOCIATIIIN-'CDI'VUIIiIIT.) (Bee. April 13, 0.20 a.m.) London, April 12. Tlio Johannesburg correspondent of "Tlio Times" states that the railway agreement between the Transvaal and the Portuguese Government of Mozambique), which guarantees tlio Portuguese Delagoa Bay railway 50 por cent, of the Transvaal's oversea trade, has given a fillip to the anti-Union campaign in Natal (who also has a railway interest in the Transvaal's trade). At the same time, the correspondent points out that the convention with Mozambique places Natal in a far bettor position than she could holds under a system of free competition with tho Dolagoa Bay railway. . It is added that an agitation in Cape Colony advocating differentiating in favour of tho representation of tho country as oi>posed to the towns is having an unsettling effect.
