THE WEATHER.
Eastor weather so far has been wet. Not that there is anything novel in that as applied to Easter weather generally. 13ut this year fnir days and suushino prior to tho holidays gavo promise of exception to the goMral rulo, so that peoplo lived on a doubting hope that there would bo tho extraordinary phenomenon of sunshino at Eastor, Oil Good Friday it was wind: wind of tho kind which mado tennis and-bowls, usually games of skill, almost games of chanco, Yesterday and on Saturday it was rain drenching, soaking rain that damped the ardour of tho most optimistic spirits. It remains to ho seen whether to-day will change tho old order of things meteorological, and bo a day to talk of and look back on as tho great exception to tho Eastor weather- rule.
