Hogg visited Waitara last evening. lie was greatly surprised at tho oxtenb of tho back country possessed by North Taranaki, and promised to placo th'o needs of the district before his colleagues. Ho thinks that before long considerable improvement will bo effected. Ho left for Masterton to-day.
