The Criminal Investigation Department at Scotland Yard is investigating a series of mail bag robberies, effected whilo tho mails ivoro in course of transit to Spain from Gibraltar. Tho scams of the bags were out, and registered packets wero extracted and steamed open, and rifled of their contents. Tho envelopes were then regummed and replaced in the bags, the scams of which were re-sewn.
