Sir,-—ln a local in your issue of to-day, mention is made to permission having been granted for visitors and others during New Zealand Industries .Week (12th to 19th May)
to visit tho municipal electric light works t and power-house, and suggesting that it i would bo moro interesting if visitors could i inspect our local industries. I beg to .state i that our Wellington manufacturers will be only to pleased to grant facilities for visitors c seeing over their factories.- It is a fact that < a vory largo number of people havo ab- i solutcly no idea of tho number and importance i of our local manufactures and number of i hands employed.
