"THE CRUCIFIXION."
Appropriately for the season of the year, excerpts from Sir John Stainor's sacred cantata "The Crucifixion" are being rendered at some of tho Eastor week church services in the city. Last evening the choir of St. Thomas's, Newtown, gave iv very creditable performance of the work, tljo soloists of the evening being Messrs. J. Searle, W. Turrell, and 1\ Norris.
