A tragedy has occurred at Marougo, a small pastoral town on tho Marcngo or Murringo Creek, about 241 miles south-west of Sydney. A selector named Snlom and his wife were quarrelling. Their daughter, aged fifteen years, went to her mother's assistance, and fired six shots from a revolver into her father's head and body, killing him on tho spot. The daughter has been arrested. MURDER AND SUICIDE. London, April 6. A grocer's wifo at Oxford cut the throat of her husband and two of her children, and then committed suicide.
