A TRIUMPH FOR THE HEREFORDS.

i On Tuesday evening Mr. Frank Moore, of Bush Park, Kai Iwi, received a cable announcing that a Hereford fat bullock, i which he sent over to compete at the Sydney Royal Show, had secured the championship. This bullock was six years old, and was competing against all, ages and breeds. The exhibitor and many others as well consider this a great triumph for Hereford cattle, as the bullock, in question was competing under many disadvantages, among them being the long journey to Australia, and the fact that he only landed in Sydney a week before the show. This was the same .bullock that secured the : championship at last Ma.sterton show. 'A two-year-old stud Hereford-bull-named "Royal Standard," secured isecond prize in his class at Sydney . show, also, sent over by Mr. Moore.
