SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY.

*-^— 'DONALD MXEAN STREET CHURCH. The most encouraging sign of progress of the Donald M'Lean Street Primitive Methodist Sunday School, which has just concluded its twenty-ninth year, is the marked increase of new scholars on the roll. The newcomers number 77, states the annual report, and, after de> ducting '48 scholars who have removed from the district, there is still a substantial gain of 29. A long-desired improvement has been made by the provision of temporary classrooms, and it is hoped, at no distant date, to build permanent classrooms between the church and Sunday School. The . new gymnasium has proved very satisfactory, the heavy expenditure being more than met before the close of the season. The committee hope at the close of the incoming year to present to the trust fund a very handsome sum.. The collections for foreign missions totalled £2 7s. 3d., and for orphanage needs, £1 11s. 6d.
