COURT OF APPEAL.

LEASE OF A FARM. Argument with respect to the case of Crespin Parker (appellant) versus Reginald P. Grevillo and Mary J. Edwards (respondents) was concluded yesterday. This was an appeal from a judgment delivered by Mr. Justice Chapman.. Appellant had brought an action against respondents to secure a renewal of a farm at Silverstream hold by respondents as trustees. The ground on' which respondents opposed tho claim was that appellant had failed to perform certain covenants in .tho lease. . His Honour held that appellant had substantially broken tho covenant to eradioato tauhinu. Therefore ho refused to grant specific performance. From this decision an . appeal wis now brought. ■ Mr. Skerrett K.C., with him Mr. Johnston, appeared on behalf of appellant, and Mr. D. M. Findlay, with him Mr. .J. L. Stout, for the respondents. Tho Court intimated that it would take time to consider its judgment. .
