; HIGH COMMISSIONER'S CABLE. The Department of Industries and Commerce las received the following cable from the High Commissioner, dated London, April 3, 1009:— ' The mutton, market continues dull. Large quantities have been put in store,. and large shipments are expected. Canterbury mutton is quoted at 3Jd.j arid North Island at 2Jd. per lb. ■ The- lamb market is depressed, although there Is a better demand at present low price on account of Easter. .
