Councillor Ballingor: "That tho council takes steps, under tho provisions of Tho l''irc Brigades Act, 1908, and its amendments, to apply to Mm Governor feir an Order-in-Council declaring tho city of W,,). lington to ho n (iro district under The Fire Brigades Act, and that tho necessary poll of the ratopayors of the city in connection therewith ho taken on tho samo day as the coming flection of councillors is held." Councillor Fislior: "That tho by-law re lating to the- keeping of poultry, 'confirmed at tlio meeting of the council held on March 11, bo repealed."
