A destructive conflagration at Fort Worth, capital of Tarrant County, Toxas, destroyed a hundred residences, four churches, and two schools. Tho damage is estimated at a million sterling. Five hundred families arc homeless. [Fort Worth has several mills and a oondderable trade in cotton. The population in 1900 was ?6,688.1
