"Interested."—The Licensing Committee has fiower to grant a license to sell intoxicating iquor at the Trenthani racecourse. Reduction was not carried at Hutt, as you state, but even if it had been it has been held by the Court of Appeal that such licenses as Trentham are occasional and casual licenses, not being licenses that nro snbmitted to tho electors, and are not affected by the local option poll.
