It makes a grand total of £7,742,916. _ Foreign missions, 24 in number, mako up the largest item, £1,479,559. • Homo missions, 61, come next, with,£1,049,028. But as thero aro 14 institutions which are both homo and foreign missions, and havo an incomo of £592,287, tho best idea of tho position may perhaps be formed when it is stated that the homo and foreign missions of overy kind have together an incomo of £3,120,874. This is more than double tho incomo of all the hospitals and nursing institutions, of which 161 receivo £1,252,542.
