A sharp shock of earthquako was felt hero yesterday about 1.20 p.m. Tho I'-ahiatua Football' Club held its annual ricoting on Thursday night. Tho bal-ance-sheet showed 11 credit of 17s. (id. Ten new members wero elected. The Rev. T. M'Kcmia was elected patron; Mr. (!. H. Smith, president; Messrs. W. IT. Hawkins, G. A. Burgess, W. Owen, J'. Tullock, V. Dobrcccney, W. Scott, .1. M'Ardlo, vicepresidents; Mr. J. (}. Swainson, secretary and treasurer; Mr. W. E. Collins, captain'; Messrs. F. Zillwood. J. M'Cardlo, G. Yule, E. Darky. IT. A. Thomson, and Foss, committee ; Messrs. Darley, Collins,' W. Scott, delegates to Bush Uniou.
