INTERESTING EXPERIMENT BY A WELL-KNOWN OTAGO STATION MANAGER. Only by conducting careful experiments can perfection be attained. Science never stands still. Tho progressive man aims at the top, and the road thereto lies through carefully-conducted experiments. Last autumn, Mr. R. K. Smith, the. wellknown manager of Morven Hills Statioa, Otago, conducted a careful .experiment in sheep-dipping, and has handed in his report to Messrs. Dalgety and Co. (Ltd.), Dunodin. It reads as follows—i.e.: Morven Hills Station, Tarras, N.Z., September 14, 1908. Messrs. Dalgety and Co. (Ltd.), Dunedin. Dear Sirs,—l am in receipt of yours of Ist. instant re Qinbell's sheep dip, and am pleased to say the results have, been entirely satisfactory. ■ Besides about 12,000 halfbred and merino hoggets we dipped a good many of the settlers flocks, and as far as I know they are all clean and healthy: You need not be afraid of strongly recommending either the powder or liquid dip to clients. Yours faithfully, (Signed) R. K. SMITH, , Manager. Mr. Smith's findings are in entire agreement with those of all the most eminent sheep-breeders m the world to-day, who have tested Quibell's Dips against all or any other brands. ggjg
