Tho death has occurred at his residence at Boston Spa, near Leods, of Mr. J. 0. Andrews, one of tho host-known barristers on the North-Eastern Circuit. Mr! Andrews was operated on for appendicitis, hut ho had a serious relapse. Mr. Andrews won Barkston Ash Division for tho Liberals at a byelection in October, 1905, defeating the present member, Mr. G. R. Lauo Fox. At tho onsuing eoneiral election in January following he was defeated, and thus ho had tho novel experience, owing to Parliament not hcing in session, of being elected member of tho House, but never taking his scat. He was thirty-six years of age.
