Tho Vienna nowspaper "Fremdenblatt" says:—"Tho Powers wish the threatening conflict (with Servia) to bo momentarily averted. Wo wish it to bo permanently romoved. Tho Servian question requires radical treatment, and must get out of tho world forthwith and forover." This somi-offici.il commcnt refers to tho 'exceedingly gravo deadlock which has arisen from tho fact that tho Austro-Hungarian Minister for Foroign Affairs (Baron Aeren- | thai) objects to tho terms of tho formula— i proposed by Sir Edward Grey, British Secretary for Foreign Affairs—which would have enabled Servia to satisfy all AustriaHungary's substantive demands, and which would havo smoothed tho way for tho proposed Conference of tho Powers. It is understood that Sir Edward Grey is preparing fresh proposals. Meanwhile, Baron Aerenthal withholds what is almost an ultimatum to Servia. SERVIA RELIES ON THE POWERS. London, March 25. Reutcr's Belgrade correspondent reports that the Government has announced that Sorvia will unreservedly follow tho advice of the Powers.
