Y.M.C.A. MATCH. An interesting oricket match will be played on tlie 'Athletic Park on Saturday afternoon, when the hoarders of tho Y.M.O.A. on the first floor will nieet those of the top floor. The ladies' Auxiliary will dispense afternoon tea to.the teams, which are as follow:— Upper I'loor.—H. N. Holmes, C. Beasley, W. J. Jlears, W. E. Southwick, G. T. 0. Smith, J. H. Williams, H. V. Walton, J. Wilson, W. Crompton, P. B. Cork, and P. J. H. Townsend. Lower Floor.—N. Brindley, W. L. Wilson, W. Wood, V. Drew, P. Elliott, W. Eglin, A. Clark, P. W. Good, C. E. Dowland, T. H. Shah, and J. R. Henderson. Umpires: Messrs. Lambert and Greenwood. BOYS' INSTITUTE. 'The cricket club of the Wellington Boys' Institute held a social last night to celebrato their winning the championship of the Boys' League. Mr. E. E. Wood, president of the cricKet club, presided over an attendance of about thirty. Items were given as follow:— Pianoforte solo by W. Jennings, recitations by K. Sherney and G. Barras, and violin solo by E. Kichards. A number of toasts were honoured.

A match has been arranged to be played on the Hutt Recreation Ground on March 27 and April 3, between a team from the Hutt Valley and a team from the town clubs, selected bv Mr. W. T. Wynyard. The following will represent Hutt Valley:—Bennett, S. Brice, A. Oate, P. Connolly, L. Isherwood, H. Joyce (Pe-. tone), L. Climie, F. Judd, J. • Rodgers, A. Staples, and T. H. Wilson (Waiwetu), On Saturday the final match of the season of the Anglican Boys' Cricket League will be played at Newtown Park between St. Paul's A's and St. Mark's School.
