Members were looking, forward eagerly to the Easter operations at Oriugi this year. The company was represented in the tentpitching and route-marching competitions at the military tournament held at Palmerston JNortn. on November 9, and acquitted themselves with credit. Tho annual shooting match with the Wanganui Highlanders was held on New Year's Day, 1909, the Wellington men- being victorious. The team was very hospitably entertained by the Wanganui men.
