RIFLE SHOOTING.
PETONE CLUB. On Saturday the Petone Kifle Club completed its aggregates at 900 anil the finals were in no way affected. The following were winners and runners-un &race Trophy :-C. W. Mellor (winner), 992; J, E. M'Lachlan, 950; A. S. Henderson, 912. Championship Shield:—J. garter (winner), 697: C. W. Mellor (winner), 683; A. S. Henderson, 654; J. Roberts, 652; J. E. M'Lachlan, 6-18; W. Thomas, 647. • B Class Aggregates :--S. Knight (winner), 581, E. Johnson, W. Faulknor (shoot off),, 558. In addition to the above, the following were winners of trophies during the season: A. Ballinger's trophy, A. Butler; W. N. Butlers trophy, X E. M'Lachlan,; F. Jennys trophy, J, Ingram; T. Burt's- trophy, C. W. Mellor; C. Bird's trophy, W. Faulknor; C. E. Hollard's trophy, J. E. Calvell;, Dr. Purdys trophv, A. S. Henderson; Feist and Co. s trophy, E. Johnson, W. H. Ballinger s trophy, S. Knight; Myers and Co. s trophy, J. Carter; club trophy, S. Knight; club trophy, C. J. Hollard. The shoot-off for the B Class aggregate will take place next Saturday at the AVaiwetu range, GOO yards. It is proposed to hold a social shortly for presentation of prizes, and to wind up the season.
