FATAL ACCIDENT.
1, THREE MEN KILLED. SHIFTINC A BIC BATTLESHIP. GANGWAY COLLAPSES. (BTTELEGBAHI—IMtESS ASSOCIATION—COrVRIGItT.) London, March 21. An accident, resulting in loss of life, occurred at tho works of Yickcrs and Sons and Maxim, at Barrow, while workmen were passing the recently-launched battleship Vanguard (improved Dreadnought typo, 19,250 tons), from the dock to tho wharf. The pause of the accident was tho collapse of a gangway. Fifty men wero precipitated from tho wharf into tho dock, throe being killed and forty injured.
