Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report:—At our Waverley horso fair, on March 11, only a small entry, 1 mostly of inferior horses, came forward. Buyers were" present in good numbers, and wo sold most of the entry at-market rates. At our 1 clearing sale of dairy stock on account of Messrs. : Remnan Bros., at Waverley, on March 13, we had a good attendance and made a satis-factory-clearance. At a special sale of surplus stock at Karioi we yarded 9200 sheep. Thero' was a good attendance, buyers from Waikato and other, districts being present. The sheep on the wholo were yarded in good order. Competition was quiet under tho hammer, but we succeeded in selling a good proportion of the entry.
