'• A Press Association message from Christchurch states that several cases of New Zealand poultry, prepared at the Government Depot at Christchurch, for display at tho Shepherd's Bush Exhibition, were sent to the freezing works on Saturday, in readiness for shipping to Loudon. The birds aro all young, ranging from three to five months, and are line examples of what New Zealand can produce in the way of high-class poultry. The (-weights of tho different lots are:—Twclvo black orpingtons, 601b; twelve white wyandottcs, 591b.; twelve plymouth rocks, 531b.; six hondans (very young), 221b.; twelve leghorn spring chickens, 261b.; six goslings, 511b.; twelve ducklings, 591b. Tho ducklings and goslings were procured from Burley's, somo of the poultry from Spreydon, and the remainder from the Government poultry farm at Burnham.
