SAVAGE CLUB.

The annual •; meeting of - - the -Wellington Savage Club is to be held at tho Grand Hotel on Friday, April 2. Tho annual report state's that the funds of the club are in a .very, satisfactory state, the balance at credit of profit and loss account being .£379 19s. 2d. At the commencement of last season, Mr. Morris- Fox resigned his position as a vice-president of the club, and Mr. Hareusi Plimmgr retired from tho ( committce. No appointments to tho vacancies wero made. The chief features of the past sqason were the visit of the Christcluirch. Savage Club, and a very successful ladies': evening. In May last a number of members journeyed to Palmerston North and assisted at the opening of the local Savage Clnb. s The performances at tho ordinary korero3' also reached a very high standard.
