COST OF LIME NITROGEN.
, It is estimated that by the Birkeland and Lyde processes, -under the conditions prevailing at Notodden, tho cost 'of extracting nitrogen from the air and combining it with lime to make a ton of commercial fertiliser as liino nitrogen containing 13.2 per cent, of nitrogen is about £3'lDs. per ton of fertiliser.
