THE VOLUNTEERS.
The annual meeting of the No. 5 "Field Ambulance Corps was hold in the Drill Shod hist evening, Surgeon-Major llogg in the cliair. The statement of finances showed (lie corps to be in a prosperous condition, the balance-sheet showing u credit of .£3r>. The following committees were elected -.—Finance—Surgeon-Major Begg, Surgeon-Captain llolines, Sorgt.-Maior Finlnyson, and Private Schnlenborg. Social—The Corps' Officers, Sergts. Sinclair and Fiulayson, Privates Dawson, Cunningham and Lark. General—Sergt. Finlayson, Corporals I'nrily and Gosney, Privates Perry, Thwaites, and Schulenberg (secretary). The Ambulance Corps, which is doing notably good work, is very strong at present, but there are still three or four vacnneios, ami tlioso voting men who are desirous of acquiring a knowledge of ambulance work could not do better than apply for admission. The corps lias just boon provided with a handsome uniform—blue with red facings—which is at once serviceable and becoming.
