MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.
Mr. F. Townsend, who was for somo years Mayor of Miramar, has decided to become ' a candidate for a seat on the City Council 1 at the election to be held this day six weeks. j Mr. J. J. Devine, who has been actively 3 associated with municipal alfairs, has also been approachod to becomo a candidate for c the council. Ho has not yet made a decision. 1 Mr. A. H. Fullford, of Brooklyn, has received a petition asking him to becomo a cani didato for the City Council. Ho has replied in tho affirmative. Mr.-F. M. B. Fisher, M.P., is definitely announced as a candidate for the City Mayoralty.
