AGREEMENT IN THE AUSTRALIAN .< TRADE. (Nt TEr.BcnATMi—vunsa association—corrniGiiT.) (Rec. March 17, 1.5 a.m.) Melbourne, March 16. A series of conferences between representatives of tho inter-State steamship companies (including tho Union Company's Melbourne manager, Mr. David Mills) and the Federated Seamen's Union resulted in an agreement covering a period of two years. The agreement applies to sailors, firemen, trimmers, greasers, and donkoymen.
